Michigan State basketball schedule, game times released

On Wednesday, the Michigan State 2012-13 basketball schedule was released — including most games times.

The Spartans open with Connecticut in the Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Base in Germany (ESPN, 5:30 p.m.). MSU also will play in the Champions Classic against Kansas on Nov. 13 (ESPN, 7 p.m.).

The premier game of the season is the Spartans’ Jan. 27 matchup at Indiana, which CBS will broadcast. The Spartans have at least 14 games on the ESPN family of networks.

The Spartans will have two exhibition games, starting wtih Northwood on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. on Big Ten Network. The second will be against St. Cloud State at 8:30 p.m. on BTN.

The game to be played in Jenison Fieldhouse will take place on Dec. 15 at 9 p.m. on ESPNU.
