Damion Terry has been posting big numbers through his entire senior season, but now he has set the school record for touchdown passes in a game.
Terry threw for six touchdowns passes, breaking a record he held with another player, and ran for another score in a 61-19 win, as Erie Cathedral Prep moved to 8-0. He completed 11-of-16 passes for 263 yards.
Terry now has thrown for 2,135 passing yards and 31 touchdowns. He also has seven rushing touchdowns.
Delton Williams found the end zone twice on the receiving end of passes from Terry, one from 18 yards and one from 4 yards.
Downingtown East wide receiver Jay Harris also had touchdown catches among his nine receptions for 147 yards. He now has 45 receptions for 686 yards and 12 touchdowns. Downingtown East, like Erie Cathedral Prep, is undefeated at 8-0.
Grand Rapids Christian's Drake Harris scored a touchdown on a 72-yard end-around and followed it up with a 33-yard touchdown catch two drives later to lead the Eagles to a 21-7 win against Lowell.
He had three catches, including a touchdown, for 46 yards. Harris now has 59 catches for 1,158 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Holmes rushed for 96 yards and scored two touchdowns on 12 carries in Flint Carman-Ainsworth's 49-21 win. Holmes has 73 carries for 818 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
